Philip M Dingemanse is an award winning Tasmanian architecture and design studio.

A design focused practice, key characteristics of the studio are rigorous and strategic design thinking, thoughtful response to site and surroundings, and careful implementation of best practice environmentally sustainable design.

With commitment to research and best practice, the studio delivers projects of the highest quality.

The Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) awarded Philip Tasmania’s 2015 Emerging Architect Prize in recognition of outstanding contribution to architectural practice, education, design excellence and community.

Philip graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2001 with a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours.

Following graduation, Philip was based in Melbourne for 5 years, where he worked with Plus Architecture, and Fender Katsalidis. In Tasmania he worked with Birrelli Architects and contributed to multiple award winning projects during his for 5 years at the practice.

Philip has professional skills in all phases of design and construction delivery, and also has wide-ranging experience in onsite construction and building, an awareness that closely informs his design method.

Philip maintains an ongoing relationship with the University Of Tasmania School of Architecture as a design tutor.
